Week 2 Recap

Week 2 had its share of surprises including Ross and Luke's teams laying an egg.  Ross pulled a Rick Keeney-esk strategy and started only 8 men with a very unKeeney-like result as team Favre laid the beatdown 107-50.  Last minute additions Ott and Marshall are both 2-0.  As is Team - and Dave's "FormelyKnownAsFavre."  Robert Griffin III or perhaps Brett Favre Reincarnate has also led Dave to a perfect start.  Some sources are reporting that RGIII is already in contract talks with Levi.  Congrats to team Marshall who won a meaningful game of the week in a close one against poop.

WEEK 2: Awards
Owner of the week: Team Ott - (133pts)

Team Ott knocked around a good Men of Troy team in week 2 to the tune of 133 points.  133 is the easy record for 2012 and not far off the pace from a top 10 all time league score.  Ott had an all-around great effort out of his players but was lead by crazy good Reggie Bush.  This is why I suck this year because I never would've guessed guys like Reggie Bush would be rushing for 172 yards and 2 scores. Otts been tougher than a 2 dollar steak thus far and through two weeks is the team to beat.

Player of the week: Reggie Bush, 31pts (Team Ott)
In the NFL, I always thought Reggie would be as good as Team Ott's name is creative, but over his past 8 NFL games Reggie "I cheated in college like no one else" Bush has been amazing.  He has always had success in space but is now proving he is a legitimate runner between the tackles.
Reggie recently lost his heisman, but gained a lifelong friend in Justin Ott
[Honorable Mention: Robert Griffin III, 30pts]

Double-take Award: Danny Amendola, 20pts (Jumbo Gumbo)
Danny was Amendolling the punishment out to the Redskins sunday as he went for 160 & a TD.  Amendola was incredibly involved in Brian Schottenheimer's offense and has 20 catches through the first two weeks of the season.  Amendola wasn't even drafted in a lot of leagues, but is looking like an excellent option going forward for the soup.
[Honorable Mention: Sam Bradford, 23pts]

Coaching move of the week:  Big Time Johnson:  It didn't win him the week, but having the confidence to start Brandon Lafell (11pts) over Anquan Boldin (0pts).  Big Time Johnson showing some big time cajones there.

Special Teams Award: Packers D, 19pts (Team Ott)
Big assist to Jay Cutler here, the man who has a better arm than John Elway.  Nonetheless, the packers D ate up da bears in every facet of their offensive gameplan and came up with 19 points.
[Honorable Mention: Stephen Gostkowski, 17pts]
Our beloved $7 kicker may have missed the big one but did have 4 others and checked in as the #1 kicker of the week.
The Weekly Haha Award: Larry Fitzgerald 0pts (The biggest fumblers)
1 catch for 4 yards??  Maybe Fitz will earn his $48 (million) dollar auction salary still, but he's got 6 points so far this season and his quarterback issues are showing.
[Dishonorable Mention: Jamal Charles, 1pt]
