Forgetting Brandon Marshall                     VS.                     FormerlyKnownAsFavre

     After winning the last GOTW, Forgetting Brandon Marshall will return to the spotlight in week 3.  This week, matching up against Team Favre and the scorching RGIII.  The line has Team Marshall by 7 and this should be another classic BIG TIME game of the week clash with the winner improving to an impressive 3-0.

QB- I'm in the minority here but I think the steady veteran Rivers will outpace the flash-in-the-pan rookie.  Ryan Matthews returns for the chargers to give that offense some balance and Rivers will score at least his predicted value.

Advantage: Forgetting Brandon Marshall

RB- Arian Foster is the gold standard of runningbacks, but Marshall has 2 good ones as well.  Slight edge to Marshall here as Shonn Green is not a guy you start with confidence.

Advantage: Forgetting Brandon Marshall

WR- Johnson, Jennings and Cruz?!  This is where Favre starts to pick up the points.  White, Marshall and Brown are no slouch either.  If Marshall can keep the WR scoring close its a big win.

Advantage: FormerlyKnownAsFavre

TE- Jason Witten has proved nothing through the first two weeks, but has done more than Dickson.

Advantage: Forgetting Brandon Marshall

K/DEF- I almost called this a push, but I think the Eagles could have a nice day versus Tampa Bay.

Advantage: Forgetting Brandon Marshall

Final Thoughts:  Team Favre has a heck of a WR unit and a crazy hot quarterback.  If they stay as hot as the prior two weeks Favre will win again.  Marshall is more proven from 1-9 and I'll take my chances with FBM going 3-0.
