Constitution

Article I- Fantasy football should be fun so don't take this too seriously.

Article II--All managerial moves and decisions should be made with the idea of giving your team the best chance to win.

Article III-DUES: In years that dues are charged, owners must pay dues to the commissioner or league treasurer before week 10 of the regular season.  Teams forfeit their right to participate in the playoffs if they have not paid and may lose managerial rights as early as week 10.

Article IV--PAYOUTS: Payouts concluding the season will be stated by the commissioner prior to week 1 of the NFL season.

Article V-TRADES: An accepted trade must either wait the full 24 hour confirmation period or be accepted by all other league members. It will not be pushed through early by the commissioner.  3 or more team trades will also be allowed.  If participating owners inform commissioner, the proper players will be transferred to the appropriate teams and deemed final after the proper 24 hour league notice via the message board that a trade has been accepted.  Objections to that trade/vetoes need to be voiced on the message board.   The same number of vetoes are necessary as a 2-team trade.

Article VI--LINEUPS: Failing to set a competitive starting lineup, (as deemed by the commissioner) for more than 3 weeks during the regular season or any one week during the postseason can get you booted.

Article VII--STAT CORRECTIONS: ESPN sometimes makes retroactive stat corrections to the previous weeks games.  All changes made by ESPN will be observed.  Incorrect stats can be reported within a week of the game in question to the commissioner to be changed if ESPN is in error.  After that period of time a game is final and unable to be appealed.

Article VIII--Any owners violating our basic rules settings, constitution or participating in any other unspecified collusion can be booted from the league at any time.

Article IX--Any rule under appeal that is not defined by the league settings or constitution will be decided by the commissioner.  If the commissioner's team is directly involved, however, the vice commissioner will make a ruling.  If both are involved it will be put to a league vote.

  1. I move to amend the section regarding dues. If a player does not pay, not only are they ineligible for the playoffs, they are ineligible for the next season.
