Week 10 Preview

My two cents:
.01¢) These thursday games throw me for a loop a little bit.  On my days off I'll try to have the preview up prior to the thursday night game, but most of the time the preview will probably be up its normal time of Friday or Saturday.
People are extremely busy this time of year I know.  Try to at least keep your team current with a legit starting lineup each week though.  I'm not asking you to do any more than check your team for five minutes twice a week.  This was 90% of the reason that I wanted league dues; so that we could have ten active members that had some motivation to stay regularly involved.  Overall the league has been really good with that, possibly the best ever.  Inactivity has still been a small problem though.
.02¢Being built even as we speak is a BIG TIME Fantasy Football league bunker (that will probably second as a house for my family) with a basement serving as the venue for next year's draft party to which you are all invited Labor Day 2012!  ...should be a good time.

This weeks winners
  • Suck for Luck (over ConVicks)
The ConVicks make this close with Tebow and Gore and Jackson.  Ahmad Bradshaw will be out and his Jets defense will have a tough task trying to stop New England.  I like S4L's starting 9 this week and Matt Cassel has a favorable matchup versus Denver.  The RB and WR positions will win the day for team Suck for Luck.
  • RIP Al Davis (over FormerlyKnownAsFavre)
Team Favre fires a major opening salvo with Michael Bush's 29 points, but I like what RIP is doing here with his dominant runningbacks paired with Eli and the two Giants receivers.  Favre needs a win here or he may be out of the playoff race.
  • Hunk Hoisters (over The Biggest Fumblers)
Carson Palmer and Denarius Moore played Thursday night.  Palmer was good and Moore was great.  The Hoisters will have to overcome a 39 point lead in this matchup with only 2 additional players to start.  Call me cocky, but I like home team's chances here.  I think it will be about a two point win though, not the 136-120 victory that ESPN foresaw.

  • My Team - (over Wright On)
Wright On's fantasy star Tom Brady has a tough matchup here in New York against the Jets.  The minus has favorable match ups across the board and could score his season high.  The minus avoids a loosing streak and improves to 7 wins while Wright On moves one game closer to Andrew Luck.

    BigTime Johnson           vs.         Donkey Power

There was no question here in the game of the week and Johnson and Donkey Power face off in a matchup to determine the frontrunner for the last playoff spot.  The winner of this could be in sole possession of fourth place with four games remaining.  Johnson has already gotten respectable output out of Phillip Rivers and 2 more points out of Vincent Jackson.  He still has stars Ray Rice and Wes Welker to go also.  Ryan Matthews has already gone for team DP, and still has plenty of firepower remaining as well.  The should be an awesome matchup, as 6 players will be playing in the Monday night game.

Position Advantage:
QB: Donkey Power
RB: BigTime Johnson
WR: Donkey Power
TE: Donkey Power
K/Def: Big Time Johnson

Prediction: Donkey Power
DP wins late monday night thanks to Rodgers, the packers defense and that lovable Jordy Nelson.

==========
Good luck this week everyone.  There are no byes in week 10 so I'm looking for the scores to take off.
