Week 5 Preview

My two cents:

1¢) I think its awesome that Run N' Gun and Wright On are shaking up their lineups.  Too many loosing teams sit there and do nothing.  These guys are making major moves in hopes of major changes.

2¢) It was brought to my attention (by an anonymous, but undefeated owner that wasn't me) that ESPN has favored one team by 44 points this week.  ESPN is stupid and wrong.

Speaking of unintelligent prognostications, I have in my hand all 5 of this weeks winners... 

• Hunk Hoisters

Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson do not connect for two touchdown passes and Michael Vick has an excellent afternoon in Buffalo.  Vick's supporting cast won't be enough though.

• Big Time Johnson

Johnson has outscored the ConVicks in each of the first four weeks and I look for the trend to continue this weekend.  Wes Welker is amazing and the epic battle of Revis Island versus the slot machine will be interesting.

• The Biggest Fumblers

Everyone seems to have an opinion on Cam Newton and he goes up against an average saints D this week.  "APDMC" has something to say about this however, and Owen Daniels is still underrated.

• Donkey Power

I predict an off day; and 30 points for Aaron Rodgers.

    Team Run n' Gun           vs.         Point Machine

 

The 3-1 Point Machine take on the new-look Run n' Gun.  This matchup will be tough to break down since I'm not sure who the heck is on Troy's payroll right now.  My guess is Flacco, Smith, Felix Jones and Turner all go for RnG.  Point Machine returned to his winning ways last week.  McCoy and Forte is a great runningback duo and Mr. Eli Manning has been the 6th best QB this season.

Prediction: Point Machine

I love the switch-up by Run N' Gun and this one could be close with RnG's excellent receivers.  Gotta go with the consistent production of the Point Machine in this one, however.
